Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Introduction:

The Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) (SC&ST) Cell at Vikas Group of Institutions is established with the objective of ensuring equal opportunities, and promoting the welfare of individuals from the SC and ST community.

The SC&ST Cell is committed to creating a supportive and nurturing atmosphere that enables the holistic development of all its members.

Objectives:

Provide information and guidance on various educational and employment opportunities available for SC and ST students and professionals.

Activities:

The SC&ST Cell will engage in the following activities to achieve its objectives:

To conduct the periodical meetings with students and discuss issues related to scholarships, Jnanabhumi etc.
To organize Interactive sessions, informal meetings with students to address their Personal & Social problems.
To communicate with the students and motivate them for better future planning.
The SC/ST Cell will take up any issue / grievance from the students and discuss in the committee and will initiate appropriate action .
